4th of July Privateers Parade
Starts at 10am from the Coquina Beach North Entrance to the City Pier Park
The annual Privateers Independence Day Parade is a great way to kick off your celebration! Starting on the southern end of the Island at the Coquina Beach North Entrance this processional goes all the way to the north end of the Island, ending at the City Pier Park at 103 N Bay Blvd.
Named "Florida's Longest Water Battle" this family friendly event features The Skullywag The Privateers Ship on land. Alongside beads and the other usual parade swag you'll find that most floats will help you cool off by spraying water as they pass by.
Please keep in mind that this can be a hot part of the day so make sure to dress accordingly and stay hydrated.

4th of July Fireworks on the Manatee River
9pm at Bradenton River Walk, Bradenton
After a fun filled day at the beach, head to the mainland to enjoy an incredible fireworks display over the water at the Manatee River from the award-winning Bradenton Riverwalk. Bring your own chairs, a blanket, and enjoy the show.

9pm at Bayfront Park and Marina, Sarasota
Take the scenic route along Longboat Key for a beautiful drive to Bayfront Park and Marina in Sarasota. We promise the drive will be worth it. Grab a blanket or bring your own chairs to enjoy celebration.
4th of July Community Fireworks Show at Siesta Key Beach
7pm-10pm at 948 Beach Road, Sarasota
There is no better way to celebrate than with your toes in the sand! This Community Fireworks show put on by the Siesta Key Chamber of Commerce will be visible along the beautiful beach of Siesta Key.
